Orion Jensen is passionate about technology and helping companies align their technology and business strategies. With a background in successful product development and a passion for solving business technology challenges, Orion’s leadership is the backbone of the Clear Launch operation. Coming from a hands on technology background, he knows that your business’ ability to grow is directly impacted by how your technology scales.
Orion received his BS in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin and went on become a lead developer for Solar Winds, SecureCare, and Buildasign. As Technical Operations Manager at Buildasign, Orion helped grow Buildasign from one employee to a company with multiple teams of developers and $30M in revenue. These successes led him to found Clear Launch in 2013 with the mission of improving his clients’ business processes from purchase and production to fulfillment and logistics.
As an active member of the Austin tech community, Orion serves as the speaking coordinator for the Austin .NET users group and enjoys participating in hackathons across the city. He hosts the bi-weekly meetup Ask A Software Architect to promote education and fellowship within the Austin developer community. Orion also serves as the Co-Founder and CTO of Embarkly, which simplifies the comparison and scheduling of pet boarding services.
Director of Software Development
With over 15 years experience in software development, a keen eye for detail and thoroughness in providing software solutions, Pete turns product visions into software reality. Pete has vast experience in many industries including finance, medical, education, oil & gas and e-commerce. Some of Pete’s past roles include General Manager, Inventory Controller, QA Manager, Senior Software Engineer, Software Consultant and Director of Software Development. He has learned from these experiences the value of teamwork. Pete is passionate about the emergent quality of the team dynamic when working with clients and software teams to deliver successful software solutions. Pete focuses on keeping his and his team’s tech skills sharp to address the ever-changing technology landscape.
Pete earned an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from UTSA and studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. Pete received a minority-owned business certificate from UT Austin while helping run the family restaurant business.
During his free time, Pete can be found presenting at Title I elementary schools on what it takes and what is like to be a computer programmer. He can also be found walking his mountain bike back from one of the Brushy Creek trails.
VP of Client Services
With over 18 years experience in sales, marketing and client services, Ryan is passionate about one thing: Helping clients achieve their long-term goals.
Prior to joining Clear Launch, Ryan successfully lead global Professional Services and Consulting organizations across North America, Europe, and Australia/New Zealand. Ryan was responsible for delivery of the Oracle Field Service Cloud for key clients that included Dish Network and Ricoh USA. He held roles in both solution implementation and client relations at Bazaarvoice, where he helped customers deploy game changing social marketing and user-generated content solutions for industries ranging from CPG and Retail to other more highly regulated industries.
Ryan holds a Master in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. With additional studies in Enterprise solution implementations, change management and project management, Ryan has built a successful career in matching client needs to technical solutions that drive value every day. During his free time, Ryan can be found curing and smoking bacon or on the racetrack competing in 24-hour endurance auto races.
VP of Business Operations
Mike is an exceptional and innovative leader with 25+ years experience and an extensive track record of success in enabling revenue, developing people, professional services management and profit-focused growth.
Prior to Clear Launch, Mike’s had leadership roles managing explosive growth at several startups. He has successfully contributed to Professional Services operations and delivery best practices, led new growth initiatives and customer success-focused teams. He has contributed to financial planning & budgeting (FP&A) with shared P/L accountability and demonstrated experience driving cutting-edge initiatives to boost profitability and capture cost savings while delivering substantial improvements across key performance measures with a comprehensive dedication to customer success.
Mike earned an undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems from Texas State University and MBA studies from Washington State University.
In Mike’s free time he is a mentor for INCubatoredu at Vista Ridge High School, guiding student teams through the Lean Startup processes.
Dan Graham co-founded BuildASign.com in March 2005 and has since founded two more companies – Massage.com and Wearables.com. He currently oversees the growth strategy of BuildASign.com and plays a key role in the company’s philanthropic efforts and talent acquisition. Dan is a winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2013 Central Texas award. He is also a recipient of the Austin Business Journal’s 2012 Best CEO Award, and was named 2012 Austinite of the Year and the Business and Entrepreneurship category winner by Austin Under 40, recognizing his success as a business owner as well as his commitment to philanthropic work. As a native Austinite, Dan personally gives back to the Austin community through participation on the Board of Directors for numerous philanthropic organizations in Austin including United Way for Greater Austin, Caritas of Austin, Austin Chamber of Commerce and Greenlights for Nonprofit Success. In addition, Dan serves on the Board of Directors for a number of Austin startups including Wondercide, Snap Brands and Pride Bites. He also acts as a mentor to aspiring young entrepreneurs, partnering with Capital Factory and Incubation Station. Dan earned undergraduate degrees in computer science and philosophy from The University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law.
